Vergennes Man Dies In Crash At Murphysboro
A 33 year old Vergennes resident Carl Perry died early today when his car left Route 13 north of Murphysboro, overturned after hitting a dirt embankment and crushed him. Perry, a St Louis garage mechanic, was born in Vergennes in 1916 and served in World War II. He leaves his mother Ollie Perry and brothers Ben and Earl, with services set for Monday at 2:00 pm at Crawshaw Mortuary chapel.
