Cobden celebrates sesquicentennial history and festival play
Cobden marks 150 years with a town history, exhibits, and a staged work inspired by early 1900s diaries. Patrick Brumleve notes expert research while acknowledging inevitable differing accounts. The play The House Was Full of Pictures by local writers Lyn Steveson and Frances Swedlund will be at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the C-Infinity Event Center. Admission to the Peach Festival, play, and exhibits is free.
