Willisville fills all village board positions in unanimous moves
Willisville completes a full village board with a new treasurer and two trustees after a series of resignations and appointments. Diane Gerlach resigned as treasurer, Kathryn Griffiths was named trustee, Bob Baker left for outside residence, Cheryl Salger became treasurer, and Brian Thomas was appointed trustee. The board revised pool restrictions to six foot fences and approved street projects worth 30817 dollars while hiring J T Blankinship for sewer work at 6500 dollars. Public notices urged cleanup, including Hobb Bigham at 10 School St, with more notices to come. The 2003 election will decide Baker’s and Salger’s seats for two-year terms. The board considers water and sewer rate increases to fund local matches.
