Man shoots self at St Patrick’s Cathedral in New York
In midtown Manhattan a man said to be despondent shot himself in the head inside the parish house of St. Patrick’s Cathedral after meeting a priest. He was rushed to a hospital in extremely critical condition with a .357 Ruger pistol recovered. Police gave no motive and the man’s identity was not released. The priest involved was identified as Father Mike and was unharmed.
