A westbound pickup driven by Harris left the road and overturned in a grass field. Passengers including Chanda Schriefer and a 12 year old were hospitalized, a 13 year old girl was airlifted to a St Louis center. Harris and Jason Coffel refused treatment. After a brief chat, a suspect sprayed pepper spray at one victim and all three suspects then assaulted them. A second victim was sprayed and fled to call police. No medical treatment was sought. Suspects described as a Hispanic male in his 20s, light plaid shorts. a Black male with a black Sox hat. another Black male with no clothing details. They fled west on Douglas Drive.
