John Myers, brought to Clarke hospital a week ago with amnesia after being struck by a passing car on the highway, regained his memory late last week. He recalled the sequence of events after stepping from the ride, but collapsed when he stepped out too quickly. His memory faded again for several days.

Bertha Cotton underwent a major operation last Friday. Nor ris, working at Houghtaling Logging camp, broke his wrist and was treated at the hospital last Friday. Clyde Kinnicut, thrown from a horse at Powers, is recovering. his arm and leg were set this week. Henry Huff cut his leg badly with an axe last Friday. Fred Lafferty suffers from fractured ribs after his auto slid off the highway between here and Arago last Saturday during the rain. Mrs. Russell Train, ill for three weeks, was able to go home this week. Mrs. Chester Peden was operated on for tonsils Saturday. Mrs. Crooks, after appendicitis, shows slight improvement. G. T. Nickson, after appendicitis, returned home. Lloyd King, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. King, fell from a tree and broke his arm last Tuesday. Lorita Bell of Broadbent, Rena Miller of Catching Creek, and Edward Emery of Coquille had tonsils removed last Tuesday.
