Editorial Association Meets at Marshfield
The State Editorial Association convenes in Marshfield for three days starting Friday. On Sunday they tour Cy quille Valley and Myrtle Point then Broadbent and Coquille creamerys, with a seafood dinner in Bandon before returning to Marshfield. Henery Schroeder performed a solo and joined with Mr. and Mrs. Annin and Mrs. Pemberton for a quartette of The Man behind the Summer and the Plow. The Glee Club featured A Busy Little Bee and Dr. Clarke delivered Tim Going Home to Blighty.

Gentleman from Fair view Dies in Farm Accident
Word reached yesterday that Wm. Cotton of Fair view died after a farm accident Tuesday. While mowing a frightened team ran away and crushed him, breaking ribs on one side. Dr. Hamilton and Lieut. Coke attended, but he died about three hours later. The community extends sympathy to the bereaved family.
