William J. Cooney, 50, of 7150 Cyril Ave, is to be arraigned in Criminal Court before Judge Harold Ward on a charge of embezzlement. Indicted last week, he allegedly stole between 75000 and 100000 over ten years from Walgreens stock purchase installments he handled.

Two Southeast side children ages five and three were fatally injured in separate traffic accidents this week. David Peters, age five, suffered a fractured skull and internal injuries when found in an alley behind his home on 87th Place.
