May Festival Outdoor Play At South Haven
The Junior High School staged an outdoor May Festival in A. S. Dyceman Park directed by Miss Margaret Lovett. Cast included Malcolm Curtis Jeanie and the Wishing Fairy with Fairies and other helpers. The tale preached happiness through service as children performed dances, games, and a fairy land sequence. Vera Abella Ruth Dunn provided music with Evarts directing games and Mrs. Merson aiding.

Mrs Sarah Eaton Dies at Hallock Home
Mrs. Sarah J. Eaton, mother of Mrs Willis Hallock, died early today at the Hallock home on Michigan avenue where she had lived for years. Funeral services are set for Saturday at 2 20 PM at the Hallock residence.

Plans Millinery Opening Next Week at Johnston Hotel

Runaway Wagon Joins Town Rescue Of Elderly Pair
Mr and Mrs J C Parkhurst and their daughter Mrs Collins with her three children escaped unharmed after a runaway on Williams street Tuesday night. The wagon tipped throwing the adults and baby to the pavement, but bystanders including G G Squier and W C Burge stopped the horse and brought them to Dr Wiley for treatment. Parkhurst, 78, suffered scratches and bruises while Mrs Parkhurst and Mrs Collins were shaken but not seriously hurt. The horse ran on and no damage to harness or wagon occurred.
