Mr T J East Dies at Lee Park Tuesday
Mr T J East died about three o'clock Tuesday morning at Lee Park after seven weeks of heart trouble. A short service will be at 8:30 Thursday at the house, with funeral at Kibbie schoolhouse at 10:30, Rev Taylor officiating. East, born May 24 1833 near Vandalia Michigan, lived most of his life in Michigan. He and Lucy Reynolds married young. nine children were born, seven surviving. Surviving children Clark Roy York T Mrs S R Wright Mrs F J Wright and Mrs R E Histed, all of whom were at his bedside.

Mrs Chloe Cox Robens, born in New York, moved to Michigan as a child, married twice and had two children Celista Culver and E C Mack. A longtime member of the M E Church she was beloved as a mother. After a Glenn M E Church sermon, her mortal remains were laid to rest in Loomis Cemetery, Ganges.
