Indianapolis December 30. New trials for the convicted dynamiters were denied as court opened at ten o clock. A stay of judgment was overruled and District Attorney Miller moved for judgment and sentence on thirty eight guilty men.
President Ryan received seven years at hard labor at Leavenworth. Six defendants got suspended sentences. others were sentenced to four, two, or one year. Marshal Schmidt said prisoners would be taken to Leavenworth tonight or tomorrow via a special Pennsylvania line train.
Roy W. Gates died Sunday December in Salida Colorado, according to a message received by his foster parents Mr and Mrs Holdsworth He visited relatives three weeks before his death and the end was near He was adopted after his mother died when he was two and grew up in the town and local stores He was quiet retiring genial and obliging and left many friends behind.
The Boy Scouts will host Civil War veterans from Zach Chandler Post at the armory next Thursday afternoon January 2 from 2 to 4 oclock. A program and light refreshments are planned and a camp fire will feature stories of the war. Transportation will be provided for veterans who notify Scout master M W Meier by Wednesday night. Dr O A Dean, commander of the Post, has accepted the invitation.

The ceremony was at 1 pm in a bower of evergreens with music by Maybelle Juleson and Florence Andrews. The bride wore white chiffon and silk and carried white roses and lilies of the valley. Guests from Chicago included Hodson and Juleson. The couple will live in Cleveland after Feb 1.
