Pomological Society Reports Strong State Meeting
The Pomological Society received a message from the state society via a paper titled Lessons Learned at the State Society by President F A Wilken. Dr. Christopher Perren Dies After Illness
Dr. Christopher Perren died at noon after a brief heart illness at his home north of the city. He was 67, a former pastor of Western Avenue Baptist Church in Chisago, and had lived on a farm north of town as a summer home. He served in Chicago for years, returned two years ago due to health, and was advised to stay here last winter. He leaves a wife, three sons, and a daughter, Mrs Edward Quinlan, with two children already deceased including Mrs Fred Fish.
