Hartford Dec 6 By a large margin Watervliet voters approved a franchise for the Benton Harbor and St Joseph Electric Light and Power Co to extend its electric railroad from Coloma through Watervliet to the Bartford township line. Of 349 votes 341 for and 8 against. The company plans to extend to Watervliet immediately and seek a Hartford franchise to bring the line to the village with completion expected next summer.
