Washington Dec. 5 United Press summary of Attorney General Wickersham’s annual report to Congress shows fiscal year ending June 30 1912 federal crime and miscellaneous offenses yielded penalties sufficient to fund the judiciary but crime and vice continued to grow. The Justice Department costs totaled 2 532 60 23 with a net Treasury collection of 2 749 070 15. Wickersham urged increased appropriations harsher laws and Civil Service reforms to improve efficiency. He pressed for protection of pioneers from floods land grabs and urged congressional action on various measures.

She spent summers in South Haven with her mother Harriet Cary who owned a resort, and earlier worked at the North Shore pavilion soda fountain. She married Irving E Cowles on September 5, 1911 in Chicago. Funeral at 4904 Forsville Avenue Friday at 2 pm followed by burial at Ocita, ID with half-brothers N J Cary and C A Cary present.
