Death of South Haven Resident C L Green
Gilbert L. Green prominent South Haven resident died Saturday morning at eight in the Savitarium Battle Creek after a battle with illness. Children Mrs M T French Mrs Cora Squier and Ben Green were with him. Funeral plans to be announced after arrival of the body at 7 20 this evening with services likely at Maple Grove home. Born April 19 1837 in Jefferson County New York he was 75 turning 76 next spring and served in the First Wisconsin Cavalry during the Civil War.
