The Diamond M Art Museum opens this afternoon for a public showing in the building’s second floor exhibit space. Visitors may view the nearly doubled collection and additions between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. The Diamond M Foundation created by C. T. McLaughlin maintains the collection, which is among West Texas’ largest.

Snyder FEA Youth to Spend Summer in England on Exchange
Snyder High School senior Rusty Wilson will spend three months in Berwick on Tweed England living with the J. W. Frater family and helping on their farm. He will tour Europe for two weeks and participate in a U. S. group of forty youths coordinated by the International Agricultural Exchange Association. Rusty joined through the National Future Farmers of America Center after submitting letters of recommendation and farming background. He was the lone Texas representative and will fly to England after a briefing in Washington D C on June 16.
