Kansas City reports cattle 150 with steady prices. native and Texas steers varied. Omaha shows 600 cattle with steady prices. sheep 2000 with active market. San Francisco wheat and barley mixed. Denver cattle 800 with firm market. New York copper and lead prices noted. lambs mentioned.
Old advertisement touts Mrs Winslow's Soothing Syrup as a universal teething aid for children. Claims relief from teething pain and diarrhea, with a pleasant taste and worldwide druggist availability. Price twenty five cents per bottle.

A muddled claim states chronic constipation causes muddy comprehension and nauseating breath. It touts Karl's Clover Rot Tea as an absolute cure sold for fifty years with an absolute guarantee at 25 cents, advertised at Eagle Devg Stores.
The Board of Equalization will hear and determine all complaints on the assessed value of property in the county and may adjust valuation up or down. The assessment roll will be open for public inspection at the County Clerk’s office until adjournment. The board will continue sessions as needed and will not sit after the first Monday in October 1899 except for certain exceptions. Clerk J.T. Dunn and Deputy C. D. Mackay sign the notice.
