Ore Shipments and Mining Prospects in Western Nevada
Last week Eureka county shipments totaled 168 tons and White Pine 39 tons. The Lizard mine near Sutro Springs is bonded by San Francisco capitalists with likely sale. Ore tested at Pieffer's mill in Six-mile Canyon proved satisfactory, prompting an on-site mill to be erected. Ground is soft decomposed quartz valued around 10 dollars per ton in gold. 200 to 300 tons remain on the damp Virginia Enterprise.

Road and indigent relief bills approved by Humboldt County Board
