Saxton mine progress signals Nevada mining hopes
The Saxton mine in the McKinley group near Sodaville, Nevada, begins opening work with plans to sink to 200 feet after surface surveying. W. N. McGill, manager, aims to drift from a defined point, with strong surface indications and early plans for a long productive life. Two shifts work at the Cuyahoga Mining Company in Smith Valley, with a day and night mill, electric plant, and a cyanide plant under construction.
