Advocates claim Syrup of Figs improves comfort and health by cleansing the system, aiding the kidneys liver and bowels. It is praised for natural laxative action, curing constipation and easing colds fevers and headaches, with medical approval and no objectionable ingredients. Distributed by druggists in 50c and $1 bottles, manufactured only by the California Fig Syrup Co.
Fragmentary OCR notes show a travel and ticketing notice mentioning Tine Tables and Pacific Company with references to tickets sold baggage charges and an insurance angle. Names like J A Perrano appear amid unclear phrases indicating an agency role and time references.
A collection of aphoristic lines contrasts salary, habits, appearances, and crime with calls for self awareness. It labels folly in fashion and warns that extravagance tempts crime while men admit errors and women value brains over looks.
A dangerous condition from impure blood is described and treated with Hood's Sarsaparilla and Hop's Pills as vegetable remedies. The ad also notes Ayer's Sarsaparilla for morning fatigue and mentions Dr. E C Ward at the Busch hotel offering dental work for a few days.
The books of registration for the general election to be held November 6 1894 are open daily on legal days from 10 am to 6 pm until October 10 1894 and from October 10 1804 to October 21 1804 from 7 pm to 9 pm in addition to hours already listed. The District Court of Nevada Humboldt County issues a notice to creditors to present claims against the deceased Wm Barrett. Administrator M B Staunton invites verified claims with vouchers at his Winnemucca store office within four months from the first publication. Dated September 2, 1904.
Notice to creditors asks all persons with claims against the Daniel Lovelock estate to present them with vouchers within two months after first publication. George Lovelock Sr., the administrator, requests claims be shown at his residence in Lovelock Nevada.
At a regular meeting of the Humboldt County Board of Commissioners on July 2 1894 the county was divided into three districts. District 1 includes Willow Point Golconda Clover Valley Paradise McDermit Rebel Creek King’s River and Bartlett Creek precincts. District 2 covers Winnemucca precinct. District 3 comprises Mill City Dun Glen Kennedy Humboldt House Rye Patch Unionville and Lovelock precincts. Witness dated July 28 1804.
