An advertisement extols Syrup of Figs as a superior laxative that cleanses the system, relieves colds headaches and fevers, and acts gently on the kidneys liver and bowels. It claims wide medical approval and warns buyers to accept only the California Fig Syrup Co. product.
Time tables showing tickets for going east and west with baggage handling. J A Ferrano acts as travel agent for Travelers Insurance. East bound departures listed at 2 45 and westbound from 4 A M to 6 80 PM. Routes from LP to Mt and Pat.
The Central Nevadan endorses the Silver state ticket of Nevada on page two urging voters to investigate unfamiliar names and note the ticket favors principal over party. It promises solid records and alignment with the silver issue. Also promotes Mrs Winslow's Soothing Syrup for teething children, claiming quick relief and noting price and availability.
Notice that registration books for the general election to be held November 1894 are open on all legal days from 10 p.m. to 6 p.m. and from October 10 to October 21 1894 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Naturalized citizens must present papers. Registry Agent Ryan M. for Precinct in King’s River County Nevada.

Hours on legal days run 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. until October 8, 1804 and from October 10, 184 to October 71, 184 with added evening hours 7 to 9 p.m. Naturalized citizens must present papers. Four books of registration for the general election to be held November 6th 1804 are open. They will operate on legal days from 10 am to 2 pm until October 10th 1804 and from October 1st 1804 to October 21st 1804 from 7 pm to 9 pm. Citizens must present papers during these hours.
