A curious multi topic item recounts Queensland rabbits overrunning pastures and streets, the import of weasels to control them, and the proposed use of wild cats to curb the weasels. It adds a note on Dr Monasacin praising singing for chest strength and a New York Alean girl whose hair turned white after fright.
Notice of Assessment levied by NUMA Mining Company at its San Francisco office. A two cent per share assessment (No 2) was decided October 28, 1877 payable in gold coin to the secretary. Unpaid shares by November 21, 1879 will be advertised and sold on December 11, 1879 to cover delinquent amounts and costs. David Wilder secretary, 828 Montgomery street San Francisco.
