A promotional note extols Syrup of Figs as a universally valued laxative from the California Fig Syrup Co. It claims quick relief for various ailments caused by constipation, stresses authenticity, and advises consulting physicians for disease while recommending the remedy for general health.
Time tables note that tickets are sold and baggage checked through to eastern destinations. Travelers insurance tickets are available. Agent H. Kitto handles sales.
Local ad touts wide selection of carpets rugs window shades and wallpaper with low prices claiming to defy competition. Promotes Mrs Winslow’s Soothing Syrup for teething and advertises all steel Aermotor windmills and legal blanks sold at Brown & Piper with emergency court summons and warrants of arrest templates.
District Court officers and officials listed including Sheriff Assessor County Clerk Auditor District Attorney School Superintendent County Surveyor Public Administrator and County Commissioners with mentions of justice of the peace and constable for Union Townehi y area.
Public auction announced by Beckman and Huntoon trustees for June 9 1896 in Humboldt County Nevada for property in section 22 township 26 north range 31 east M D B and M. Includes land and water rights with irrigation ditches. Notice filed by attorney A L Hart Sacramento California May 14 1896.
The notice states regular conventions occur on the second and fourth Tuesdays each month at Silver State hall. Annie E. LaVoy M of R and C is listed. Reading is concise and indicates the meeting place and schedule.
Humboldt Lodge No. 16 I C O F holds regular meetings first and third Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in Staunton building. Also Pagalaeciereatice meets Mondays at Castle Hall. Bell meets Tuesdays at 7 p.m. with first Tuesday business greeting. Company target practice held on the second and third Saturdays.
The Lodge holds meetings on the first and third Tuesdays at 7 30 p m in Silver Koateine hall. All in good standing are invited. The Winnemucca Lodge No 19 A M neighbors meet first Saturday evenings at 8 o clock in the Over State block hall. Master Masons in good standing are invited.
