An advertisement promotes Syrup of Figs as a pure, agreeable laxative that cleanses the system and relieves colds headaches and fevers without weakening Bowels. It claims medical approval and warns buyers to purchase only from the California Fig Syrup Co manufacturer with its name on every package and the remedy sold in 50c and 81 bottles.
