An advertisement touts Syrup of Figs as a pure liquid laxative that cleanses the system, relieves colds fevers and constipation, and uses kidney liver and bowel action without weakening them. It notes the product is manufactured by the California Fig Syrup Co and sold in 50c and 1 bottles with the company name on every package.
Tickets sold and baggage checked through to all eastern points. Travelers insurance tickets also sold. J A Ferraro, Agent.
A miscellany of items including George M. Pullman recalling happier days and a Silver party central committee meeting set for Reno on May 23, 1894. Also notices about estate creditors and local business ads appear in the pasted fragment.
County balance and disbursement totals for Humboldt County Nevada show fund by fund allocations for the quarter ending March 31 1894. Items include Judge’s Salary Fund State Fund Road Fund Indigent Sick Fund Contingent Fund and various school funds with bond and warrant figures along with totals and outstanding bonds.
