In Lowestofft England the coroner's jury found gross negligence by the mate and look out on the British steamer Crathie for the sinking of the Lloyd steamship Elbe after a collision on January 30. The jury exonerated Captain Gordon from blame, noting insufficient proof Crathie was solely at fault.
Irregular fraternal schedule lists weekly and monthly meetings at the Silver State block Winnemucca Nevada for Castle Hall and Humboldt Chapter No. 9 R A M. Stated convocations on the first Wednesday monthly, plus Tuesday evenings and periodic target practice sessions. Names include C B Brown, Alex Wise, A Brenkle, with officers noted.
