An advertisement extols Syrup of Figs as a pure laxative that cleanses the system and cures constipation without weakening organs. It claims wide medical approval, cites its effect on kidneys liver and bowels, and notes packaging 50c or 1 bottle. Only California Fig Syrup Co. manufactures it with its name on each bottle.
Time tables show 5 Aw 9 25 to 4 PM schedules for Southern Pacific Company. Tickets sold for travel to eastern points. Travelers insurance tickets usable. J A Pernano serves as agent.

Company D first brigade N N G conducts drill every Tuesday at 7 30 p m with regular business meetings on the first Tuesday monthly at 7 p m. Target practice is held on the first second and third Saturdays of each month Captain BJ Anderson and O B Gunter are officers.
St James Lodge No 9 of the Ancient Order of United Workmen meets at the Silver State building on the first and third Tuesday at 7 40 p m. Fourning members in good standing are invited to attend.
