Michigan cities purchase voting machines costing about 200 dollars each. The devices resemble slot machines and are said to cut tallying and recording labor by about 40 percent annually. Ice cream parlors advertise in Bridge Street buildings opposite the Central Hotel. Lost horses from the Blakeslee ranch in Humboldt Nevada described with brands. Information requested leading to recovery rewards offered.
Notice is hereby given that under an order of the Humboldt County Nevada District Court the administratrix of James Ritchie’s estate will sell at public auction for cash on July 6 1897 at 8 AM at the front door of J B Case store Main Street Paradise Humboldt County Nevada all rights and title of James Ritchie at his death and additional estate interests in several Paradise parcels including Central Hotel Pony Saloon and Bauman's stable with improvements. Orrick, Carson Crry, N W apa, April 27, 1897, announces that Bird Parker, Robert Wilkinson, Clarence ec, and Guss McAninch, all of McDermitt Nevada, have filed final proof for the Wig, Sec 8, T47N R8E, and will present in Humboldt County. The hearing is set for June 9, 1897, before the County Clerk at Winnemucca Nevada.
