A Kansas man writes to the American Field asking Inflate details about repairing an iron wheel bicycle with hollow tires. He asks pricing to convert to a modern rubber tire and how to join parts, plus whether hollow tires lower cost if empty. He signs as Enreverzen Y. Jexsen and mentions a shoe leader M Horatas.
The administratrix of James Ritchie’s estate will auction in Paradise Humboldt County Nevada on July 6 the real property of the estate. Items include lots in Paradise and several tracts with buildings such as the Central Hotel Pony Saloon and Bauman’s stable, with cash terms and ten percent down. The sale is subject to District Court confirmation.
Assessment No 4 of five cents per share levied by NUMA Mining Company at a May 26 1897 board meeting. Delinquent shares unpaid by June 20 1897 will be advertised for sale and sold July 3 1897 at 1 PM in San Francisco to cover the delinquent assessment and sale costs. Notice published to inform that settler Bird Parker has filed for final proof on his claim in Humboldt County Nevada. The proof will be examined by the County Clerk at Winnemucca on Bee Thane 9, 1897, with witnesses Randalle, Clarence Sage, Guss McAninch, and Robert Willson, all of McDermitt Nevada, to establish residence and cultivation of the land in Township 47 North Range BB.

Before Humboldt County Clerk at Winnemucca Nevada on Wednesday June 9 1897 witnesses Bird Parker Robert Wilkinson Clarence Sage and Guss McAninch all of McDermitt Nevada to prove continuous residence and cultivation of the land.
