Administratrix JOSEPHINE RITCHIE announces sale of James Ritchie estate in Humboldt County Nevada by order of the Second Judicial District Court. Sale to highest bidder for cash on July 6 at 6 PM at the store front of J B Case Main Street Paradise, including lots 5 and 6 in blocks H and T and several parcels with named improvements such as Central Hotel Pony Saloon and Bauman stable. Ten percent cash down sale day, balance on court confirmation.
Nema Mining Company announces an assessment of five cents per share on all capital stock. Payment is due to the secretary at Room 1, 60 Market Street, San Francisco, by June 10, 1897. unsettled shares will be delinquent July 1, 1897 and sold at public auction to cover the debt and costs. Secretary M. Duperu signs the notice.

Land Office notice from Canson City Nevada dated April 27, 1307 announces Randall Sage has filed final proof for his Big of the Wig claim under homestead No. 470. Proof will be made before Humboldt County Clerk at Winnemucca on June 9, 1897. Named witnesses include Bird Parker and Robert Wilkinson of McDermitt Nevada, Clarence and Guss McAulineh of McDermitt, plus O H Gallup registrar.
