In Mottsville cemetery Carson News reports a diamond ear ring lost over twenty years ago during Grandma Motts burial was found by Miss Nora Mott while cleaning burial plots. The ring was spotted glittering on the ground and identified after a long fruitless search.
The administratrix of James Ritchie deceased will sell at public auction to the highest bidder in Paradise Humboldt County Nevada on Tuesday the seventh day of July at 3 PM at the store front of J B Case Main Street Paradise. The sale includes several parcels in Paradise with named tracts known as Central Lot Pony Saloon and Nauman's stable and corral. Full payment in cash with ten percent due at sale, balance on court confirmation.
At a May 26 meeting the NUMA Mining Company levied a five cent per share assessment payable in gold. Delinquent stock by June 5 will be advertised for sale, with sale on July 11 to cover the assessment and sale costs.
Notice is hereby given that Randall Sage has filed final proof for his homestead claim in Humboldt County Nevada. The District Court of the Second Judicial District Humboldt County Nevada orders all interested parties to appear May 17 1897 at 10 am in Winne mucca courthouse to show cause why the residue of the estate should not be distributed among heirs as required by law.
