It claims it strengthens adults and children, suggests a months course for weak individuals, and urges readers to buy from druggists with the Scott & Bowne branding displayed on the wrapper.
The ointment claims to halt intense itching and smarting from eczema tetter and other skin diseases. It is said to cure bad cases permanently and is useful for itching piles sore nipples chapped hands chilblains frost bites and chronic sore eyes.
