Since May he served at Ogden, with a proposed Utah & Pacific train master post extending to Milford and Pioche, Nevada. He was recently invited by the Southern Pacific to become a train dispatcher in San Francisco. Holmes doubts Utah & Pacific talk, noting the line’s 65 mile extension and Oregon Short Line control of materials and eventual operation by Oregon Short Line.
