Wreck on Lenaberg Line Kills One, Injures Seven

A southbound Timole Central Railroad train derailed near Lenaberg Illinois thirty three miles from St Louis. The crash killed Finnenan Thomas Jones and injured seven others including A Biflein of St Louis who is not expected to live. Engineer David McCongehie escaped unharmed. Whole Town After Robbers in New Mexico Train Attack

The town of Springer New Mexico is in an uproar after yesterday’s battle with train robbers. A posse has grown to about forty men with Superintendent Webb of Colorado and Southern arriving by special train. Wyoming & Southern Railroad gets grading contract long line

Cheyenne July 1 The Wyoming and Southern Railroad Company recently incorporated has awarded a contract for grading and bridge work from Fort Steele to the Wyoming Colorado state line a seventy mile route via Saratoga and Grand Encampment connecting with the Union Pacific The contract calls for completion by January 1 and a future extension to Steamboat Springs Colorado is proposed
