The note describes sort s emulsion as a strengthening food noted for flesh forming properties. It claims it contains cod liver oil emulsified or partially sted with lime and soda hypo phosphites, forming a potent tonic.
A vintage advertisement touts Scott's Emulsion as a remedy to arrest flesh loss and restore health for the ant, the child, and the adult. It claims to enrich the blood of the anemic, stop coughing, heal throat and lung irritation, and treat incipient consumption. The firm promotes a $1.00 bottle from all druggists.
The intense itching and smarting from eczema and other skin diseases are instantly allayed by Chamberlain's Eye and Skin Ointment. It is also effective for itching piles sore nipples chapped hands chilblains frost bites and chronic sore eyes sold by druggists at 25 cents per box. Also mentions Dr Cady's Condition Powders described as tonic blood purifier and vermifuge for horses in poor condition.

Notice by Samuel J. Anderson, administrator of the estate of Alex Wise, deceased, of a public auction to sell the real estate from the District Court order. Properties include a Grand Duchess quartz mine, 1500 by 600 feet, and a 40 acre river frontage lot near Winnemucca with three beyricks and two wagon beds. Auction January 25, 1908 at 12 pm in front of the Winnemucca courthouse. Cash with deeds at purchaser expense.
The State of Nevada under an 1880 act has filed in the United States Land Office at Carson City, Nevada, a list of tracts and applied for patent to aid lands. A public inspection list is posted for sixty days with protests or contests to follow. The notice cites Lot 2 of NW I, etc, totaling 117.51 acres, with dates of first insertion January 25.
