An advertisement claims Hood’s Sarsaparilla uniquely purifies and vitalizes blood with extraordinary cures. It cites a testimonial of a seven year old boy with rheumatic fever and acute rheumatism who developed five sores on the thigh, presented as evidence of the medicine’s efficacy.
United States Land Office Carson City Nevada announces Central Pacific Railroad Company filed a list of lands for patent. Public inspection is allowed with a posted descriptive subdivision map. Protests within sixty days accusing lands of mineral value over agricultural will be reported to the General Land Office in Washington D C.
