An ad touts Cham Techies Cough Remedy as preventing pneumonia and curing colds with extensive use and customer satisfaction. It urges keeping the remedy, notes 2 sizes, and lists a local seller W. A. Brown. Also promotes No-To-Bac tobacco cure and clothing from F C Robins & Co with similar advertising language.
An OCR fragment lists William McKinley as Vice President and Garrett Hobart as Secretary of State, with others including James A. Garfield, John B. Lane, Russell A. Alger, Cornelius Bliveneither, Joseph McK, and James Wilson. The text is garbled but indicates a directory of federal offices and officials.
The ad promotes Chamberlain's Eye and Skin Nutrient for eczema salt-rheum and other skin issues. Also marketed for itching piles sore nipples chapped hands frost bites chronic sore eyes and used as a general remedy. Dr Cady's Condition Powders are sold as a tonic blood purifier and vermifuge.
