Ring theft leads to county jail sentence for Aguilar
Constable Nossinger arrested Chris Aguilar for stealing a ring from Express Agent Gilbert about a week earlier. In Justice Rutherford's court Aguilar pleaded guilty to petty larceny, valued at about $15, and was sentenced to sixty days in the county jail or a $30 fine plus costs and leaving the state. He was allowed time to raise money and may pay the fine. He asked to keep the ring if paying, but must surrender it.
