Charles Emerson a switchman cut Chris Diehl Jr with a razor in the Railroad saloon last evening. Injuries not serious. A warrant issued for Emerson on assault with intent to do bodily harm. he was arrested and released on recognizance awaiting 1 pm trial. Emerson had clashed after insulting notes at the Diehl residence. Diehl and his brother pursued Emerson. Emerson drew the razor. Emerson later swore out warrants against the Diehls for assault. case likely after his trial.
