The advertisement touts Syrup of Figs as a superior laxative that cleanses the system, relieves colds headaches and fevers, and treats constipation by acting on the kidneys liver and bowels without weakening them. It claims medical approval and broad consumer satisfaction with bottles priced at 50 cents and 1 dollar, manufactured only by the CaliforniaFig Syrup Co.
A compact old notice outlines subscriber duties including continuing, stopping, and informing the publisher of changes. It warns that failing to collect, moving without notice, or refusing to pay may imply fraud and lead to arrest or fines under postal law. Also includes a breakfast note promoting mackerel at 15 cents each or two for 25 cents.
Delinquent tax sale announced for Humboldt County Nevada listing parcels and properties with tax amounts penalties and costs due by January 20 1906. Properties include holdings near Lovelock Kennedy and Rock Creek with assorted stock and improvements and a court house auction at the county seat.
The notice states ten percent on the tax amount plus advertising costs, penalties of three percent per month from sale date, and a repayment plan within months of the sale. P Laverga, county treasurer, notes these terms for the tax sale.
Monthly gatherings occur at Silver State hall every second and fourth Tuesday evenings, with participation by CA J. Abel and Annie E. Lay. The notice lists meeting details and organizer initials, indicating a local fraternal or civic group activity at the Silver State venue.

St James Lodge No 9 of the Ancient Order of United Workmen invites members in good standing to attend the meetings on the first and third days of each month at 7 30 o'clock at their hall in the State building. Financier F Muller Recorder H Warren and Co Wolf M W preside.
