It claims quick cleansing of the system, strengthens kidneys liver and bowels, and cites medical approval. The California Fig Syrup Co markets 50c and 81c bottles through druggists with its name on every package.
Travelers purchase tickets and baggage checks flow through eastern stations as time tables guide departures. Insurance tickets noted as sold amid busy conveyance, with crowds moving toward platforms and trains.
A historic notice outlines subscriber obligations for periodicals including continuing by default, arrearages, and disposal of papers. It cites court rulings on refusing papers as prima facie fraud, and warns of potential arrest for nonpayment under postal laws. Also includes stray ad copy about mackerel and Klein hang prices.
