Ely to Erect New Commodious School House

New Nevada Laws Published from Twentieth Legislature Session

Nevada lawmakers publish enacted laws from the twenty first session as references. The notice lists Chapter CXII authorizing Ormsby County to donate land to the State of Nevada including specific parcels and acreage, with State receipt and management by the Board of Examiners and Secretary of State certification. Desert Mining District notes and bonds on claims near White Plains

Warren Noteware and J T Hauskins secured nine more claims from Walter Schmidt in the Desert mining district. Their bond covers principal claims pressed by the Eureka cyanide syndicate with Alex J McCone and H M Gorman involved. The Desert Queen shaft reaches about two hundred feet, and exploration spans twenty five miles from White Plains.
