Advertises Syrup of Figs as a healthful laxative cleansing the system and easing colds headaches fevers and constipation. Claims it benefits kidneys liver and bowels without weakening them and notes genuine bottles bear California Fig Syrup Co. name available in 50c and 1 collar bottles.

A physician named Snell broke off his engagement to Miss Frond after learning her mother died of consumption and she was tainted with the disease. The jury awarded £1000 damages, prompting a debate on whether heredity justifies breaking engagements. Some argue science obliges precaution to prevent unhealthy offspring, while others defend personal sentiment. Hay for sale by G. S. Nixon. 600 tons available.
Dr W W Head spends a few weeks in Eureka and will return to Winnemucca to finish remaining dental work. Patients are advised to await his return for any dental needs.
