Four cows show tuberculosis test results at Storrs College
An 1896 to 1897 study at Storrs Agricultural College Connecticut observed four cows with tuberculin tests. Initial negative results turned positive later, then negative again. Experimental Stock Feeding Trials Reported by Station
The Experiment Station conducts a fourth season feeding trial per Reno Journal. First winter pigs fed twenty one days on alfalfa hay and water with roots whole corn and whole Deas later added. Second winter steers fed largely on alfalfa hay with cracked corn and bran. Photographs of live animals and dressed meat were taken and dress meat per hundred pounds live weight calculated. Figures appear in Bulletin No. 40.
