Storm Damages Warsaw Area Sunday Afternoon
A severe storm with lightning and hail caused damage in and around Warsaw last Sunday afternoon. Telephone and telegraph wires were knocked out for a time. Lightning struck a tree near the J. Babcock home and damaged the county farm barn, tearing shingles and siding.

Mildred Fern Elder nine weeks old daughter of Mr and Mrs Eli E Elder died at home in Elkhart on Thursday August 29, 1907. Funeral services were held at the Center U B church north of Silver Lake on Saturday August 31 at noon. Rev E L Wright conducted the services with interment in Center cemetery.
