Death of Chartie Haney at 22 After Tuberculosis
Chartie Haney died at his Silver Lake cottage home on Sunday evening August 2 1915 at 6 15pm after a long battle with tuberculosis. He was born January 29 1893 near Silver Lake and worked as a barber. Funeral services were held at the U B church with Rev O B Wells and Rev Park officiating. Interment followed at Lakeview cemetery. He leaves a father mother two sisters and four half sisters plus a large circle of relatives and friends.

Mrs John Flohr longtime sister in law of Mrs William Hill died after months of ill health. Mr and Mrs Hill visited the Flohr home yesterday evening. The death came suddenly and the funeral is expected Friday.
