Here From Chicago E. M. Scott was here from Chicago with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Scott, west of town. Milo has been in Chicago for several years employed as book keeper in several of the large wholesale houses. He is now at home on a vacation.
A note from Centralia Washington states Thomas BK Evans and Mrs. Evans will leave Monday October 14 for Indiana with a stop in Iowa to visit his brother. After brief Iowa visit they plan to reside in Silver Lake and likely make it their future home.
Emery Shutt purchases the vacant lot on Sycamore street west of the George Hammer property and plans to move the Mc Clure house from Walnut and Jefferson streets onto it. He will occupy the property after remodeling, becoming a Silver Lake property owner and permanent citizen.

Josiah Funk his wife Estel and their son and daughter depart Tuesday for Wasco California to reside and likely make their future home. The community regrets losing Mr Funk and family but wishes them prosperity in the Golden Gate state.
The Silver Lake band performed in Warsaw last Friday morning at the Ollie James speech and continued to Plymouth in the afternoon. Woodrow Wilson, the Democratic presidential candidate, spoke to a large crowd and delivered an excellent address.
Warner of North Manchester is this week staying with the Pearson family to enjoy a fishing trip. He and his wife have just returned from six months in Florida and Georgia and plan to visit Texas next week.
