Letters to Santa From Second Grade Pupils
Pupils in the second grade publish their Christmas letters to Santa Claus in the Record. They request toys like trains, dolls, candy, a drum, a gun, and other items, asking if Santa will come to school and noting they are seven or eight years old. The piece closes with an ad for Jet White Groceteria in Warsaw and a memorial memory tree message for fallen soldiers.
