Surgeons note men are slightly more subject to appendicitis than women. Silver Lake residents are advised that Adler-ika mixed with buckthorn bark glycerine and other ingredients can relieve digestive issues and may prevent appendicitis. The claim is attributed to J R Norman, a local druggist.
Walter Loucks of Elkhart stayed with N. M. Frantz over Sunday. Mrs. Lucien Olds visited from Elkhart from Thursday to Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Sprieg.
