Revival services at the Lutheran church continue with strong attendance. Prof and Mrs Stratton assist with spirited evangelistic efforts and singing. They previously helped at a Methodist revival here, drawing large crowds through their music. They are highly recommended by Dr E Zartman of the Interdenominational Association of Evangelists of Winona.
Organizers Prof and Mrs Stratton and the A. A. Fietener evangelistic party from Warsaw Indiana invite all to hear them. A strong musical program complements pure Gospel preaching by Rev Eakin of Warsaw and neighboring pastors from Warsaw and North Manchester. A large audience gathered Wednesday evening for the sermon on a chosen text.

A deadly accident at the John Fitton home left 11 year old Robert Smith dead after Clyde Budd aged 13 discharged a revolver in the barn. Don ald Thacker aged 11 was present as authorities opened an inquest led by Coroner Kelly from Warsaw. The incident occurred Tuesday afternoon after school when Budd fired the weapon, striking Smith in the left breast near the heart. Smith lived only minutes after the shot and his funeral was planned for Friday at the U B Church with Rev Park to conduct the service. The coroner rendered a verdict in the case while neighbors gathered and assisted at the scene. Smith was a top student in the fifth grade and the sole son of Earl and his wife, who had been separated for some time.
Mrs Gladys Townsend of Cairo North Dakota was visiting her sister Mrs Edward Weaver and husband south of town when she was summoned home Saturday evening due to the serious illness of her father.

The funeral of Mrs William Drudge was held at South Pleasant church three miles south of here on Tuesday of last week. She died at her Tippecanoe home from cancer. The deceased was a sister to Mrs ALT Kreamer who resides in the east part of town.
Mrs. Mary Fleck aged 74 died suddenly at the home of her daughter Mrs. Fred Walters east of Servia last Sunday afternoon around four o'clock. She had traveled from her home near Servia on March 18 and was in her usual health until the heart trouble attack. Funeral services were held Wednesday with burial in a cemetery southeast of Servia. The Walters couple expressed thanks to neighbors for kindness during the illness.
Mrs. E J Wiltrout is staying with her son Charles Wiltrout after suffering lead poisoning from inhaling fumes of fresh paint at her home. The incident emphasizes dangers of outdated paint and indoor air exposure.
